ENGL 491 Independent Study I
Students select a topic and undertake concentrated research or creative activity under the mentorship of a faculty member. Students who wish to pursue a creative writing project should submit a portfolio of work with their application.

Prerequisite
Completion of 12 credits of 300/400 level ENGL courses, consent of instructor, department chair and dean and admission to the English honors program. Students who wish to pursue a creative writing project should submit a portfolio of work with their application.
