HIST 355 Everyday Life History

Traditional and modern societies are examined from the bottom up. Attention is given to material well-being; sexuality, marriage, family, and childhood; crime, disease, and death; and leisure and escapism.

Credits

4 credit hours.

Prerequisite

Completion of one of the following: HIST 101, HIST 102, HIST 103, HIST 104, HIST 105, HIST 106, HIST 107, or HIST 161; or consent of department chair.
