HIST 330 History of American Immigration

The role of immigrants and ethnic groups in the development of the United States is examined. Topics include the causes of immigration, nativism, impact on the city, cultural conflict, and assimilation.

4 credit hours.

Prerequisite

Completion of one of the following: HIST 101, HIST 102, HIST 103, HIST 104, HIST 105, HIST 106, HIST 107, or HIST 161; or consent of department chair.
